Freeman Boatworks is seeking a Hardtop Assembly Technician in Moncks Corner, SC to support the assembly and installation of hardtops. You will work with fiberglass, composites, adhesives, and fasteners, following design specifications to ensure precision and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in marine manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of fiberglass, composites, and boat assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install hardtops per blueprints and specifications.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety protocols.
• Work with fiberglass, composites, adhesives, and fasteners.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and finish.
• Maintain tools and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Accurately track materials used and report shortages.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and quality.
