Job summary

Hinckley Yachts is seeking a hands-on Marina Operations Associate for our Southold, NY waterfront location. You will operate a marine forklift, load and unload boats, and support daily dockside operations to ensure efficient movement and safe handling of vessels.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, solid knowledge of marina operations, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and a waterfront work environment.

• Strong understanding of marina operations.
• Able to perform necessary maintenance functions to keep the marina equipment operable.
• Ability to operate a travel lift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate marine forklift and load/unload boats from transport trailers.
• Load and adjust boat trailers; set boats in three rack levels.
• Launch and haul customer boats and move boats to the launch area.
• Secure boats to the docks.
• Perform daily inspection of marina equipment and fuel boats as needed.

• Operations: Operate marine negative forklift. Load and unload new boats from transport trailers. Load and adjust boat trailers. Set boats in three rack levels.
• Boat Handling: Launch and haul customer boats. Move boats to and from launch area. Secure boats to the docks. T
• Maintenance: Perform daily inspection of all marina equipment. Fuel boats and equipment as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations. All duties as assigned.
