Job summary

Hinckley Yachts is seeking a hands-on Marina Operations Associate to support daily boat handling, maintenance, and safety compliance at our waterfront facility. You will operate equipment, load and unload boats, launch and haul vessels, and ensure equipment is inspected and fueled as needed.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of marina operations, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills to provide top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate marine negative forklift and load/unload boats from transport trailers.
• Load and adjust boat trailers; set boats in rack levels.
• Launch and haul customer boats; move boats to/from launch area; secure boats to docks.
• Perform daily inspection of marina equipment and fuel boats/equipment as needed.
• Follow safety rules and regulations; perform duties as assigned.

• Operations: Operate marine negative forklift. Load and unload new boats from transport trailers. Load and adjust boat trailers. Set boats in three rack levels.
• Boat Handling: Launch and haul customer boats. Move boats to and from launch area. Secure boats to the docks. T
• Maintenance: Perform daily inspection of all marina equipment. Fuel boats and equipment as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations. All duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of marina operations.
• Able to perform necessary maintenance functions to keep the marina equipment operable.
• Ability to operate a travel lift is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide a high level of service.
