Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is seeking an Engineering Intern for the winter break at our Marinette, WI location. The role provides hands-on exposure to shipbuilding engineering, supporting projects and documentation under experienced engineers.

You will assist with drawings, calculations, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, hull analysis, and testing activities, gaining foundational skills in naval architecture and marine engineering.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; enrolled in a university program.
• Pursuing naval architecture or engineering degree.
• Experience with naval architecture software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Support 2D drafting and 3D modeling; define material requirements.
• Assist with hull analysis, stability calculations, and weight estimation.
• Assist with testing activities, including dockside testing and sea trials.
