Job summary

Fincantieri Marine Group in Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking an Engineering Intern to contribute to naval architecture, electrical, mechanical, and structural projects in a shipyard setting. Gain hands-on experience by working with engineers and designers.

You will participate in design reviews, grow your drafting and testing skills, and learn shipyard safety and production processes, with occasional travel as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; enrolled in a degree program.
• U.S. Person status required.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with drawings, calculations, reports and responses to customer comments.
• Assist engineers with testing activities, including dockside testing and sea trials as needed.
• Support engineering design and drafting, including 2D drawing development, 3D modeling, and material requirements for projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
