Job summary

Green/Black belt training desirable.
Two years shipboard repair experience with Bachelor's, or zero years with a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for shipboard repair projects at various sites.
Communicate with trade shops and production teams to support planning and scheduling.
Prepare design studies, sketches, and engineering calculations under direction.
Support development of work specifications and technical work documents.
Interpret regulatory rules, US Navy specs, and industry standards.
Develop CAD drawings and BOMs using CAD software.
Conduct non-conformance evaluations and document resolutions.
Travel to remote locations and work nights/weekends during peak workloads.
