Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking Marine Electricians II to support Fleet Services in Norfolk, VA.

The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems aboard ships, performing on-site field service, troubleshooting, and validating system configurations from engineering schematics. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of shipboard HM&E experience and NAVSEA or copper/fiber optic qualifications, with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Qualifications

• Requires copper connector certification or fiber optic experience.
• 4–5+ years of practical shipboard HM&E experience.
• NAVSEA cableway and connectorization certifications preferred.
• Must read and understand schematics/blueprints.
• Ability to obtain SECRET clearance and pass site access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems aboard ships.
• Perform on-site field service for system grooms, checks, and configurations.
• Read schematics and blueprints; interpret engineering specifications.
• Lay out, pull, and splice wires; install lighting and circuit components.
• Lead or guide apprentices and assistants as needed.
