Job summary

Elite Workforce LLC seeks a qualified 3rd Class Marine Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring and equipment aboard marine vessels and in shipyard facilities. You will read drawings and schematics and ensure work meets marine and applicable military standards.

You will use meters and testing tools, collaborate with shipyard teams, and uphold safety procedures to deliver projects on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret standard construction drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems operations and the use of meters and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with marine construction phases including design implementation, installation, troubleshooting, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems aboard vessels and in shipyard environments.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Utilize electrical tools, gauges, meters, and testing equipment to perform installations and repairs.
• Assist with electrical system design implementation, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable commercial, marine, and military specifications and standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area while adhering to company and customer safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, shipyard personnel, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
