Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating in Civil Construction, Marine Construction, or Dredging.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Excel; takeoff programs such as Bluebeam.
• Experience with Navisworks.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience coordinating estimators and stakeholders to complete estimates on time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate project specifications and drawings for dredge projects
• Prepare schedules, quantity takeoffs, project cost sheets
• Prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost sheets
• Accept, review, and analyze subcontractor quotes
• Develop subcontractor scopes of work
• Prepare project bid status reports
• Monitor ongoing jobs for bid accuracy
• Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits
• Maintain an accurate, current database of historical data
• Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
