Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in Civil Construction, Marine Construction, or Dredging.
• Proficient with MS Office and advanced Excel; proficient with Bluebeam takeoff.
• Experience with Navisworks and detailed cost analysis.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate project specifications and drawings for dredge projects.
• Prepare schedules, quantity takeoffs, project cost sheets.
• Prepare material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost sheets.
• Review subcontractor quotes and develop scopes of work.
• Prepare project bid status reports and monitor bid accuracy.
• Attend on-site pre-bid conferences and site visits.
• Maintain a current database of historical data and vendor relationships.
