Job summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a mid to senior level Estimator to join our Dredging division in Covington, LA, with additional project opportunities in NC and TX. You will prepare, review and present discipline estimates for dredging projects, develop conceptual estimates and perform cost analysis to support proposals.

You should have 3+ years of estimating experience in civil/marine/dredging fields, strong Excel/Bluebeam/Navisworks skills, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in Civil Construction, Marine Construction, or Dredging (or a combination).
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office products; proficient in Excel and takeoff tools (Bluebeam).
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate project specifications and drawings for dredge projects.
• Prepare schedules, quantity takeoffs, project cost sheets.
• Prepare detailed material, labor, equipment, and subcontract cost sheets.
• Review and analyze subcontractor quotes; develop scopes of work.
• Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits.
