Performance Power Systems in Savannah, GA is seeking a Marine Diesel Technician to service main engines and generators for CAT, MAN, John Deere, Volvo and other brands. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and on-site maintenance with travel as needed.

The position offers full-time hours, a competitive starting pay of $35.00 per hour, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k). Passports and willingness to travel are requested.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years (preferably 5 years) in marine diesel engine repair with familiarity of brands like CAT, MAN, John Deere, and Volvo preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces.
• Travel flexibility with some out-of-town or international trips; valid passport is required.

Marine Diesel technicians familiar with CAT, MAN, JOHN DEERE and other marine engines and generators should apply. Experience in diesel marine engines a must. Applicants should have troubleshooting and diagnostics experience as well as service and repair experience. Experience in load bank testing, diagnostic software, electrical, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. This position should keep technicians on the shore, but some travel is expected from time to time. Passports are a requirement. Successful applicants will pass pre-employment background checks.

Field Service Work
