General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works is seeking a Designer / On-Site Rep (OSR) in Norfolk, VA. The role supports the installation of maintenance and modernization alterations during CNO availabilities, coordinating with PMR, SWRMC, and Installing Agents on-site.

The position requires CAD proficiency, strong communications, and the ability to work in a team, with an emphasis on interfacing with Ship's Force and engineers. Citizenship and clearance eligibility are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Associates / Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required.
• Proficiency in Auto-CAD.
• Minimum of seven (7) years design experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years design experience, OR Associate / Vocational School degree with four years design experience.

Responsabilidades

• Acting in a liaison capacity supporting the local PMR, SWRMC, and their Installing Agents with the installation of maintenance and/or modernization alterations during ships scheduled CNO availabilities.
• Support emergent waterfront issues and interface directly with the customer on the waterfront, Ship's Force, and GDBIW Engineers/ Designers in Maine.
