Job summary

Tiara Yachts seeks a Dealer Support Technician to back the Southeast Florida market, diagnosing and resolving complex marine issues while mentoring dealer technicians. The role blends hands-on repair with technical leadership to improve service speed and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Holland-based teams and support pre-delivery inspections, ensuring vessels meet Tiara standards before delivery, and contribute to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of marine service experience.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and marine systems.
• Experience with, or willingness to obtain, certifications in key systems such as Mercury V12, Seakeeper, Garmin, generators, HVAC.
• Proven ability to work hands-on while training and mentoring others.
• Strong communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of advanced technical issues across Tiara products
• Focus on high-complexity repairs and troubleshooting requiring elevated technical support
• Support rapid-response service expectations, including urgent and time-sensitive issues
• Work alongside dealer technicians during service interactions to promote hands-on learning and knowledge transfer
• Re-inforce best practices across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and onboard vessel systems
• Support certification development and ongoing technical education related to Tiara products
• Assist with pre-delivery inspections (PDI), particularly for larger and more complex models
• Ensure vessels meet Tiara quality and performance standards prior to customer delivery
• Partner closely with Tiara’s Holland-based teams to identify root causes and drive issue resolution
