TITLE: MARINE CONSTRUCTION LABORER

LOCATION: ROCKLEDGE , FL (OPERATING AREA: BREVARD, VOLUSIA, INDIAN RIVER, AND POLK COUNTIES)

FUNCTION: CONSTRUCTION

CLASSIFICATION: FULL TIME – NON-EXEMPT – HOURLY

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensureproper setup, operation, take-down, cleanliness, organization, and maintenanceof materials, equipment, and machinery

Assistin loading/unloading of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from trucks,jobsites, and barges, ensuring proper stowage and securing of cargo to preventshifting or damage during transit

Ifoperating on a barge, assist in proper mooring/anchoringof vessels, handling lines, chains, and anchors in accordance with establishedprocedures and safety guidelines

Performtasks aligned to projects: demolition, construction, and/or installation ofseawalls, docks, piles, boat lifts: digging, shoveling, leveling, lifting, carrying,carpentry, framing, rigging, positioning structural components, and workingwith a wide variety of tools and equipment

Ensureconstruction equipment and tools are clean, organized, and stored in an orderlyfashion after each use. Dispose of rubble/debris/trash and hazardous, worn,damaged, outdated, or other waste materials from work areas and maintain abaseline organization and site cleanliness

Assistwith routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning/painting/lubricating equipment& machinery. Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazardsto the appropriate personnel for resolution

• Current, valid driver’s license
