Job summary

ORION is seeking Welders for our field construction operations to support marine and heavy civil projects. The role involves welding, cutting, grinding, and cleanup on docks, wharves, and marine terminals, working with a skilled team to deliver projects safely.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with oxy-fuel and arc welding. This is a journeyman-level opportunity with a strong safety culture and career growth

Qualifications

• Two years welding experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of welding trades and metal characteristics.
• Ability to read welding blueprints and sketches.
• Capable of passing standard welding tests across positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and cleanup as assigned.
• Cut and weld metal using oxy-fuel and arc welding equipment.
• Prepare and stage materials; assist with rigging and lifting.
• Maintain welding equipment and report parts needs to Foreman.
• Follow safety policies and participate in environmental initiatives.
