The role requires experience with painting, sandblasting, surface preparation, and adherence to safety standards in a demanding environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of marine coating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years marine painting/sandblasting experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety rules.
• Knowledge of marine coating applications and surface preparation.
• Ability to read diagrams and follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Operate spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply coatings.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, stripping, sanding, and masking as required.
• Select and mix paints according to specifications and contracts.
• Disassemble and maintain painting/sandblasting equipment and keep a clean work area.
