Qualifications

• Working knowledge of marine coating applications and surface preparation.

Responsibilities

• Operate spray painting and sandblasting equipment to apply protective coatings to metal surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, stripping, and removing corrosion or rust.
• Protect areas not to be painted with masking materials and select appropriate paints per specifications.
• Disassemble and maintain spray and sandblasting equipment; perform routine cleaning.
• Maintain a clean work area and comply with safety procedures; assist with duties as assigned.
