Job summary

Armada Inc. seeks a Brush and Roll Painter to support surface preparation and coating application on Navy ships at shipyards and customer facilities. You will prepare surfaces, mix coatings, and apply paints using brushes, rollers, and spray teams under NAVSEA requirements.

This is a full-time, on-site role with exposure to industrial environments; you must follow safety guidelines, wear respirators when required, and coordinate with foremen and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in coating preparation and application on marine surfaces.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA standard item 009-32 and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and NAVSEA standards.
• Paint surfaces using epoxy, enamel, and other marine coatings with brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix paints per NAVSEA data sheets and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure proper cleanup, containment, and disposal per regulations.
• Assist in applying coatings, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and protect equipment.
