Job summary

Ohio Boat Manufacturer is seeking a shop technician to repair, restore, and refinish boats. You will prepare surfaces, apply primers and finishes, and help keep the work area organized.

Experience preferred with room for advancement; on-site position with competitive pay based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Sands areas to be gelcoated and masks surrounding surfaces to protect other areas.
• Prime and paint repaired surfaces using spray guns and motorized sanders.
• File, grind, sand and smooth repaired surfaces with power and hand tools.
• Mix polyester resins and hardeners for finishing processes.
• Remove small pits and dimples in boats.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Experience preferred; company may change duties at any time.

• Primes and paints repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and motorized sanders.
• Files, grinds, sands and smooths filled or repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
• Mixes polyester resins and hardeners to be used in the final finishing processes.
• Removes small pits and dimples in boat.
