Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Combo Welder/Fitter.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in barge repair or marine fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and cutting equipment.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting on marine and industrial structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
• Measure, align, fit, tack, and assemble metal components according to specifications.
• Perform welding using appropriate welding processes and techniques.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and proper fit.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
