Job summary

Matrix New World Engineering, part of True Environmental, seeks an Engineer Diver to support its Marine and Coastal practice in the NYC metro area and Florham Park. You will perform waterfront inspections and help develop construction documents.

Ideal candidates have 0–5 years of inspection/design experience, ADCI Tender/Diver, EIT, ABET-accredited degree, and current safety certifications. Travel and outdoor work are required, with strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering program.
• EIT certificate and ADCI entry-level certification required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Current safety and diving certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform waterfront inspections of marine/coastal infrastructure.
• Collect field data and develop inspection reports.
• Assist with rehabilitation and new construction design documents.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Support dive operations and equipment maintenance.
