Job summary

Washington Sailing Marina, managed by Guest Services, Inc., is now hiring a Part-Time Marina Supervisor. The Supervisor position can be either full-time (30+ hours) or part-time (1-29 hours). All staff are required to work at least one day a weekend.

The marina is staffed 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm. Starting pay for this position is $19.00 per hour and can be increased commensurate with the skills and experience of a candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• 5+ years of boating and/or marine related experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Boater Safety Course Certificate or Boating License required.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the site including open and/or closing responsibilities.
• Administer front desk operations to maximize service-oriented staff performance.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and collaborating with the WSM management team.
• Oversee ordering, inventory control and stocking of merchandise across retail food and beverage and marina maintenance repair operations to ensure accuracy and optimize product placement.
• Create and implement preventive maintenance programs for infrastructure/equipment and manage boat/vessel scheduling, slip leasing and payments.
