Job summary

Washington Sailing Marina, managed by Guest Services, Inc., is seeking a Part-time Marina Supervisor to oversee daily operations, guest services, and safety on site in Alexandria, VA. The role can be full-time (30+ hours) or part-time (1-29 hours), with a weekend requirement and 9am–5pm hours.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with growth opportunities based on skills and experience, and a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences in a dynamic marine environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Boating/marine related experience preferred.
• Ability to swim and be comfortable around water.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Flexible availability for early morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of the site, including opening/closing.
• Administer front desk operations to maximize guest service.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, respond to inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising, and sales to meet standards.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and incident reporting.
