Job summary

Lake Chabot Hospitality in the Oakland Hills seeks an energetic General Manager to lead marina operations, including boat rental, F&B, and retail, while creating memorable guest experiences in a high-energy environment.

You will recruit and mentor seasonal and full-time staff, manage budgets and revenue, uphold service standards, and maintain strong vendor and regulatory relationships, with a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven leadership in hospitality, outdoor recreation, or marina operations.
• Experience with F&B or retail management is highly desired.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control skills.
• Passion for the outdoors and delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Degree in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day marina, boat rental, F&B and retail operations with a hands-on approach.
• Elevate guest experiences by upholding exceptional service standards across all areas.
• Recruit, train, and mentor seasonal and full-time staff in partnership with HR.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
• Foster relationships with vendors, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure full health, safety, and environmental compliance.
