The Resort at Longboat Key Club in Florida is seeking a Dockhand to support marina operations, ensuring docks are safe, clean, and well maintained to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities include docking boats, inspecting docks and equipment, monitoring security, transporting guests by marina shuttle, and responding to emergencies while maintaining a tidy marina environment and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Overnight shifts, weekends and holidays required.
• Basic boating knowledge preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with docking and undocking boats during hours.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of docks and marina equipment.
• Monitor the marina area for security and safety compliance.
• Drive Marina Shuttle to transport marina guests (Must be 21 years of age).
• Respond promptly to emergency situations or guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the marina and dock areas.
• Collaborate with marina staff to support daily operational needs.
