Job summary

The Marina Dockhand position at Guest Services requires assisting with marina services, fueling boats, and keeping the dock area clean and safe in a busy North Miami Beach location. Customer service skills are essential to assist guests and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities include fueling and pumping out boats, dock assistance, and accurate cash handling with receipts and change. Safety awareness and the ability to work in wet outdoor conditions are required.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and assist guests efficiently.
• Must be able to swim or wear a personal flotation device while on duty.

Responsibilities

• Fuel boats while maintaining a safe environment.
• Pump out boats.
• Maintain marina maintenance (cleaning, trash removal, order supplies).
• Provide excellent customer service and direct issues to supervisor.
• Assist with docking of boats and cash handling duties.
• Identify items and tabulate bills using a cash register or similar device; issue receipts and change.
• Maintain cash register contents and report safety issues to management.
