Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Marina Dockhand to support marina services, quality control, and cash handling procedures. The role involves maintaining a safe dock area, assisting boaters with fueling, pumping out boats, docking boats, and ensuring accurate cash transactions.

Candidates should have basic education, strong customer service skills, and be able to communicate in English. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and the position requires outdoor work in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education or High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service abilities and willingness to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
• Must be able to swim or wear a flotation device on duty.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Fuel boats following safety procedures.
• Pump out boats.
• Maintain marina maintenance including cleaning and organizing.
• Provide excellent customer service and direct issues to supervisor.
• Assist with docking of boats.
• Handle cash, issue receipts and process refunds accurately.
• Maintain cash register and awareness of safety issues.
