Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, through Freedom Boat Club, seeks a friendly dockside team member to greet members and support operations at the marina. This part-time position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with duties including guest check-in/out, equipment checks, and basic guidance on local waters.

You will work outdoors by the water, maintain vessels and club facilities, and perform daily clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, balancing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read and operate handheld tablets.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• Must follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Answer calls with proper etiquette.
• Check-in and check-out using a handheld tablet.
• Perform equipment checks to ensure vessels are functional.
• Clean and maintain vessels and the club location.
• Prepare reservation fuel logs and weather reports.
