Job summary

The St. Joe Company marina is seeking a Dockhand to assist with daily operations, mooring, fueling, and guest services. Duties include keeping areas clean, following safety protocols, and supporting marina guests and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting the Dockmaster with training, worklist execution, routine tasks, boat handling, utility connections, and maintaining security. A strong emphasis on customer service and safety is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years marina experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in execution of tasks.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail in marina operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dockmaster with ensuring policy compliance and safety.
• Help train dockhands in marina policies and procedures.
• Prepare and execute worklists for marina operations.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to quality standards.
• Assist in securing boats, connecting utilities, and waste disposal.
• Support refueling operations and ensure safe fueling procedures.
• Provide high level customer service and transport patrons/ baggage to dockside.

Job SummaryMarina Dockhand is responsible for assisting with daily operations, including mooring, fueling, and customer service.
