Morgan Stanley is seeking a Margin Operations Analyst to manage margin policy exceptions and daily margin processes. The role involves reviewing asset transfers, monitoring collateral, and applying REG-T guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

You will support client service, escalate risk issues, and participate in policy improvement initiatives while collaborating with multiple teams. Hybrid work requires in-office presence three days weekly.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Finance related field.
• Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly within the organization.
• Willingness and desire to learn new brokerage operations skills.
• Detail-oriented with proactive risk identification and change.
• 2+ years of work experience in the broker-dealer space, preferably Margin Operations or Equity/Options Trading.
• Strong understanding of margin balances and buying power across REG-T, REG-U, Options and Portfolio Margin.
• Working regulatory knowledge of FINRA 4210, Reg T, U, Portfolio Margin and Pattern Day-Trading.
• Solid understanding of trading strategies and current financial market conditions.
• Knowledge of Excel and other Office products plus Tableau/Bloomberg.
• Willingness to learn new processes and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate, review, and manage exceptions to the firm's current margin policy.
• Perform daily margin processes: managing margin calls and monitoring accounts for accuracy and collateral.
• Review asset transfers (funds and securities).
• Strong understanding of REG-T Margin guidelines, Day-Trade rules and complex option strategies.
• Take-action on at-risk accounts for adherence to policy, market conditions, or account behavior.
• Support customer service in identifying and resolving client margin issues via email, phone, or chat.
• Assess risk and apply closing transactions in high-pressure market conditions.
• Escalate risk-related issues to leaders across lines of business.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve risk management and order execution systems.
• Provide regular reporting to direct management.
• Contribute ideas to enhance operational processes for clients.
