Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
• Clear articulation of complex ideas to any audience.
• Willingness and desire to learn new skills in brokerage operations.
• Detail-oriented with proactive risk identification and change.
• 2+ years in broker-dealer space, preferably Margin Ops or Equity/Options trading.
• Strong understanding of margin balances and buying power across multiple products.
• Regulatory knowledge of FINRA 4210, Reg T, Portfolio Margin, PD trading.
• Knowledge of Excel and Tableau/Bloomberg in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, review and manage exceptions to margin policy.
• Perform daily margin processes: margin calls and collateral monitoring.
• Review asset transfers (funds and securities).
• Understand REG-T Margin guidelines, Day-Trade rules and options strategies.
• Take action on at-risk accounts for adherence to policy or market conditions.
• Support customer service in resolving margin issues via email, phone or chat.
• Assess risk and apply closing transactions in fast-moving markets.
• Escalate risk-related issues to leaders in all lines of business.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve risk management and order execution.
• Provide regular reporting to direct management.
