Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer or similar role on latency- and efficiency-sensitive server infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines and processing, including distributed storage like ClickHouse/BigQuery/Dremel.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and routing basics.
• Proven track record of collaborating with many teams to achieve cross-functional goals.
• Track record of owning problems, goals, and outcomes beyond specific pieces of software.
• Experience building long-term, sustainable, maintainable systems.
• Ability to dive deep into technical specifics while keeping the big picture in mind.
• Experience with Go, Rust, or C languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain distributed, low-latency systems for Cloudflare's edge platform.
• Build and run data pipelines and measurement libraries for resource usage.
• Collaborate with product managers and other teams to support testing and enterprise customers.
