Job summary

Cloudflare’s MAPS team is looking for highly motivated software engineers to join the group that builds and maintains the data pipelines and instrumentation powering Cloudflare's edge platform. You’ll work across teams to ensure accurate attribution and efficient operation of resources at global scale.

You will collaborate with product managers to support synthetic testing and enterprise load testing, while refining tooling and measurements for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a software engineer or similar role on latency-sensitive server infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines and distributed storage/processing such as ClickHouse/BigQuery/Dremel.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and routing basics.
• Track record of collaborating with many teams concurrently to achieve goals.
• Track record of building long-term sustainable, maintainable systems.
• Experience with Go, Rust, or C.

Responsibilities

• Join the MAPS team to build and run data pipelines and instrumentation.
• Develop tooling to test and measure resource usage on Cloudflare's edge platform.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to support public facing testing products.
