Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Map Product Analyst I to act as a critical connector across engineering, data analytics, policy, and operations. You will improve tools and operational efficiency by analyzing performance metrics, turning data into actionable strategies, and guiding product priorities.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, collaboration with Engineering, and developing evaluation frameworks and KPIs for map-related product deployments. Hybrid work model with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in operational analytics, quality assurance, process improvement, or a closely related analytical role.
• Experience designing and executing in-depth root cause analyses on operational workflows or large-scale workforce performance.
• Proven experience conducting user research methodologies, such as direct user shadowing, focus groups, or user acceptance testing.
• Proficiency in SQL or similar database querying languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute root cause investigations into operational inefficiencies by detecting bottlenecks and analyzing patterns.
• Synthesize qualitative findings from focus groups, user shadowing, and evaluations into actionable reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering to provide test support for product development and validate automation tools.
• Coordinate with Training and Policy teams to conduct quality reviews and map discrepancies.
• Establish new evaluation frameworks and KPIs to assess product deployment impact in production.
• Design and execute A/B tests to inform product priorities and process improvements.
