Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Mapping Infrastructure Team. You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power the Atlas and Fleet Intelligence data streams, enabling scalable map data storage and delivery for the Aurora Driver.

You will work cross-functionally to optimize performance, establish robust tests, and collaborate with customers to shape future features. Hybrid in-office schedule in SF Bay Area with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building server-side and data processing systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend design.
• Commitment to robust, testable, production-ready code.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities
