Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking an experienced MAP Rest Home Onboarding Specialist - Contractor for a one-year engagement to provide advanced clinical consultation, training, and technical assistance to licensed Rest Homes as they prepare to implement MAP.

Working at a level equivalent to Registered Nurse IV, you will evaluate current medication management, identify gaps, and translate MAP requirements into practical day-to-day practices while traveling to facilities statewide.

Qualifications

• RN with Massachusetts licensure and clinical nursing expertise.
• Experience with medication administration programs preferred.
• Ability to train and coach facility staff.
• Strong regulatory and QA orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess medication administration systems in licensed Rest Homes.
• Develop facility-specific MAP implementation recommendations.
• Provide education and coaching to staff and administrators.
• Prepare reports and progress follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with MAP policies and MA regulations.
