Job summary

TC Energy is seeking an Engineer or Technologist for the MAOP Records Verification Team to verify MAOP records, manage changes, and support regulatory inspections across the US natural gas network. The role collaborates with Pipeline Integrity and Operational Teams and contributes to MEGA Rule compliance and PHMSA reporting.

Reporting to the Team Lead MAOP Records Verification, you will develop verification approaches, manage projects, and assist in implementing new MAOP tools and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3–4 years of related industry experience.
• Registered or eligible to register with APEGA as EIT or P.Eng.
• Background in pipeline integrity, design, construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and records for MAOP verification.
• Collaborate with Regulatory and Special Programs Team to meet Mega Rule milestones.
• Provide technical support reviewing MAOP records and testing requirements.
• Analyze moderately complex situations using regulatory knowledge and engineering judgment.
• Compile data for regulatory audits and inspections with compliance focus.
• Support MAOP verification tool implementation and related MOC processes.
