Job summary

SC Johnson in Racine is seeking a High School Manufacturing Youth Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in a real production environment under supervision. Qualifications

• Current high school junior graduating in May/June 2028 and enrolled in a Racine-area high school.
• On track for high school graduation and eligible for Wisconsin DWD Youth Apprenticeship.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to complete assigned work independently with supervision and direction.
• Willingness to learn, solve problems, think critically, and adapt to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Train on, set up, and operate low-tech sorting, assembly, packing, and general manufacturing equipment as trained.
• Follow all safety requirements, standard work, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor equipment, identify abnormalities or operating issues, and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Complete required production, quality, safety, and systems documentation.
• Support maintenance activities and help maximize equipment uptime.
