Job summary

SC Johnson invites a High School Manufacturing Youth Apprentice to work alongside Production Associates and gain hands-on experience in a real manufacturing setting. You will learn safety, teamwork, equipment operation, quality, and problem-solving through on-the-job and technical training.

The role includes two pathways (Manufacturing and Maintenance) with hands-on duties, safety compliance, and documentation, supporting a productive, clean, and safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current high school junior graduating May/June 2028 and enrolled in a Racine area high school.
• Eligible for Wisconsin DWD Youth Apprenticeship Program.
• Willingness to learn, solve problems, and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Train on, operate, and assist with low-tech sorting, assembly, packing and general manufacturing tasks.
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and perform safety checks with proper devices.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with maintenance activities as trained.
• Complete production, quality, safety, and systems documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners under supervision.
