Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Yard Laborer for the Buchanan, GA area. The role involves assisting with concrete pours, preparing beds, housekeeping, and following safety and quality rules to ensure a safe work environment and high-quality products.

Typical duties include handling materials, laying out rebar and insulation, preparing for pours, and assisting supervisors with various plant tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unloads.
• Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulations.
• Pulls strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and; cuts strand with grinder and places chucks on ends.
• Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.
• Prepares for pours.
• Clean up around beds after members are stripped and dispose of trash, scrap wood, etc.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
