Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is hiring a Concrete Production Worker for our Spartanburg, SC location. You will support production by placing steel, strand, and concrete in bed, preparing beds for pours, and assisting with forming and finishing operations.

The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, basic tools handling, and the ability to read instructions and work with a team in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to follow safety and quality rules.

Responsibilities

• Places steel, strand, and concrete in bed for production of concrete member.
• Strips and cleans bed for next pour.
• Receives concrete, vibrates and spreads using spud vibrator or vibra trak.
• Lays out rebar, plates, loops, and insulation; ties wires and places form and side plates.
• Prepares for pour by blowing out bed and arranging pouring tools.

Strips and cleans bed for next pour. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.* Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unloads.* Uncovers bed, removes, sided forms if applicable, detentions’ bed, removed bulkheads, removes block outs and cutbacks with railroad bar, cleans and oils bed.* Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulations, etc.* Pulls strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and; cuts strand with grinder and places chucks on ends.* Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.* Prepares for pour – blows out bed with air hose and receives pouring tools.* Receives concrete, hooks up air hoses, spread and vibrates concrete with spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed.* Places insulation and C ties in bed, if applicable, scrapes rails, sweeps up excess concrete around bed, collects all tools and materials, and puts them away in tool chest or returns to warehouse.**Job Specifications or Qualifications:** **Education and/or Experience**: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.-All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
