Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer seeking hands-on helpers to support concrete production at our Petersburg, VA location. Responsibilities include bed preparation, rebar layout, and assisting with pours and housekeeping to ensure quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to plant procedures while supporting a range of duties on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unloads.
• Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulation, etc.
• Pulls strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and; cuts strand with grinder and places chucks on ends.
• Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.
• Prepares for pours.
• Clean up around beds after members are stripped and dispose of trash, scrap wood, etc.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions:

Cuts strand, and assists with the process of pouring concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member. Assists with housekeeping and other plant tasks.
