Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure in South Beloit, IL is hiring for a hands-on production role that blends welding setups, rebar assembly, and concrete finishing. Training is provided for new hires, with clear pay progression from $17.31/hour to $21.51/hour within 90 days.

The job includes overtime opportunities, health insurance, and retirement bonuses. You’ll work Monday–Friday 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with possible Saturday shifts in a hot industrial setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—we’ll train you to weld and work with rebar.
• Must pass a physical and drug/alcohol test to be eligible.
• Industrial setting with safety gear and PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding operations to improve production efficiency.
• Tie rebar and assemble reinforcement for concrete products.
• Grind, patch, and finish concrete pipe components.
• Use hand and power tools; move materials safely.
• Lift 35+ lbs regularly and comply with PPE requirements.
