Job summary

Hydropoint Data Systems in Boise, ID is seeking an Operations Assistant to support product manufacturing, shipping, warehouse tasks, and data collection. The role requires basic PC skills, math ability, and 0–2 years of related experience, with overtime during peak periods.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, quality processes, and collaboration with engineering and warehouse teams. Training will be provided for level changes based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate/ratio/percent).
• Ability to interpret bar graphs.
• Manufacturing/warehouse experience and/or assembly experience.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Mechanical assembly.
• Solder and basic PCA assembly is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehouse support equipment.
• Forklift experience (or ability to become forklift certified) is a plus.
• Participate in team events and company activities.
• If new Level 1 employees have prior industry experience, they are eligible to be considered for level change based on manager/supervisor assessment within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performing product manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, quality control, and engineering support duties and activities as directed.
• Operating test and measurement equipment.
• Following assembly documentation.
• Maintaining quality processes and procedures.
• Collecting and recording technical data, verifying compliance with specifications.
• Conducting mechanical product assembly and packaging.
• Facilitating shipping and receiving using various automated methods.
• Recording activity through data entry operations.
• Using warehouse equipment, manifest and information collection systems, and label printers.
• Safely using various material handling equipment.
• Palletizing product, loading and unloading material and equipment.
• Performing administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
• Working during peak activity times (month/quarter end, inventory), with overtime as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote workplace safety.
