You will lead daily operations, champion the Goodyear Production System (GPS), and optimize end-to-end value streams from raw materials to finished goods.

You will develop talent, coach cross-functional teams, and partner with union leadership to deliver sustainable results aligned with plant and enterprise goals.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field; 10+ years manufacturing experience; 5+ years leadership in manufacturing; unionized operations experience; Lean/CI/TPM background.

This position also partners across functions and with union leadership to deliver sustainable business results aligned with plant and enterprise objectives. **Why This Role Matters** * Lead manufacturing performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and Productivity to achieve Annual Operating Plan and enterprise commitments.* Champion Safety as a Value and Zero Loss Thinking, identifying and eliminating losses through disciplined problem solving and focused improvement.* Strengthen organizational capability by developing talent, building leadership depth, and fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.* Drive end-to-end value stream performance while aligning unit priorities with plant, regional, and enterprise objectives. **What You Will Do** * Lead daily Manufacturing Unit operations and reinforce standard work and continuous improvement through effective execution of the Goodyear Production System (GPS).* Optimize the value stream from raw materials through finished goods using a customer-back perspective and fact-based decision making.* Use KPIs, financial loss stratification, and tiered accountability to identify performance gaps, resolve problems, and improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.* Develop and coach talent through clear expectations, succession planning, performance accountability, and visible leadership on the shop floor.* Partner effectively with union leadership, maintaining mutual respect, supporting labor agreement adherence, and enabling operational flexibility.* Manage labor, operating costs, and capital while ensuring compliance with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Environmental standards. **What We’re Looking For** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.* 10+ years of manufacturing experience in production, quality, engineering, or a related field, including 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.* Experience in a unionized manufacturing operation, with a proven background in Continuous Improvement, Zero Loss, Lean, TPM, or similar systems.* Strong operational, technical, financial, problem-solving, communication, and people leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.#LI-AP3 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
