Shape the training program: Take ownership of identifying training needs, developing materials, and building a structured approach to employee development.
Stay hands-on: Combine classroom instruction with practical coaching and training on the production floor.
Work across the business: Partner with HR, operations, engineering, quality, and safety teams to solve problems and strengthen employee skills.
Support employees from day one: Guide new hires through onboarding and help existing employees expand their knowledge through ongoing training and cross-training.
The Manufacturing Training Specialist will design, coordinate, and deliver training for new and existing employees. Training topics include onboarding, HR policies, manufacturing processes, equipment operation, safety, quality standards, and workplace skills.
This role combines instructional design with hands-on delivery, coaching, and program administration. You will identify skill gaps, develop clear training materials and standard work instructions, assess employee competency, and measure training effectiveness against business goals.
This position works onsite in both classroom and manufacturing settings. Responsibilities may require standing, walking, sitting, reaching, using hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Close vision and the ability to communicate during training activities are required.

Required personal protective equipment must be worn in production areas, including safety glasses, steel-toe, slip-resistant footwear, and hearing protection. Employees must follow all workplace safety policies and maintain a work environment free from drug or alcohol impairment.
