Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Stafford, CT seeks a Training Specialist to deliver onboarding and on-the-job training for production operators and to develop plans to ensure readiness. The role partners with Production, Quality and HR to promote effective training aligned with organizational goals.

The position emphasizes hands-on training design, program delivery, and ongoing evaluation; ITAR compliance and stakeholder collaboration are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Training or related field (or equivalent experience) desired.
• At least 2 years of training facilitation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to assess training progress and communicate with Operators, Technicians, Engineers, Supervisors and Managers.
• Knowledge of procedures and process training in manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication; dynamic presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams; multi-tasking ability.
• ITAR: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Identify training and development needs via job analysis, surveys and management input.
• Review strategy and delivery methods; continuously improve training processes.
• Develop and deliver training materials to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Plan, develop/facilitate, implement and track training programs for employees.
• Collaborate with management to determine training needs and programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using best-practice methods and improvements.
• Update training materials to reflect current business needs.
• Prepare annual training plan and reports on budget and results.
• Communicate training updates to managers and site leadership.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to facilitate training programs.
