Job summary

Birchwood Foods is seeking a Training Coordinator – Manufacturing to join the Learning & Development group within Human Resources. The role focuses on creating training programs for hourly manufacturing associates, leading Train the Trainer certification, and developing SWIs and Job Instruction training.

You will collaborate with HR, Safety, FSQA and Production to schedule training timetables for JIT, and oversee the administration of employee training across the manufacturing facility,

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience implementing, developing, and evaluating training, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to connect & build relationships with all levels of the workforce, leading & coaching others to be their best.
• Experience with a learning management system (LMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of SWIs and JI training programs for hourly associates within the manufacturing plant.
• Drive training solutions using known methodologies, including needs assessment and curriculum design.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by reviewing feedback.
• Administrative record keeping of all required records and documents.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with management to identify topics requiring additional instruction.
