Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate programs that develop employees and improve performance in a manufacturing setting.

You will partner with production leaders to create onboarding, OJT, leadership development, and technical training; manage content, track compliance, and measure program effectiveness while advancing the company's safety and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field or 2+ years in a manufacturing training role.
• Experience designing and evaluating training and development programs.
• Experience administering an LMS.
• Strong project management with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding, OJT, leadership, and technical training.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials and resources.
• Partner with managers to identify training needs and create plans.
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and metrics.
• Maintain training records and ensure FAA Part 145 compliance.
• Administer and maintain the LMS for compliance and data tracking.
• Stay current with industry trends to enhance programs.
